What’s the last movie that made you cry?
It wasn’t a movie. It was the television series Yellowstone and we cried at multiple points, especially the series finale. I highly recommend watching Yellowstone through and through.

What’s a moment when a stranger completely restored your faith in people?
As I soberly walked to my car from the bar around 02:30 I overheard a girl on her cellphone. Her date had abandoned her at the bar without a ride home. He had left with another girl.
After she ended her call she was in tears so I asked her if she was okay. I ended up driving her home that night, no strings attached. The experience was beautiful in its simple empathy.
Indian Genocide
If you could erase one event from history, what would it be?
Post partition of India and Pakistan, in 1947, as Muslims migrated north to Pakistan and Hindus south to India, a genocide occurred. My father’s entire family was killed in this wave of violence.
I would erase all of that reckless, hate-fueled violence staining history and I would have had the chance to know my paternal grandmother. My Dadi.
