Why I Write

Dear Readers, and Fellow Writers, Photographers, Painters, Artists…,

I write to know what it is that I am thinking.  I write to let go of my pain.  I write out of necessity, at the undying request of my vein.

Everything I write is meant to mean whatever it is that you see, and whatever you want it to be.  If any of my work has made you Really Feel, my life has been worth living.

Gratefully,

Ayesha

    1. I apologize for my extraordinarily tardy reply, but it is my pleasure. “Glowing” is an inspiration, and should be seen by all.

  2. Ayesha, thank you so much for your kind words on my blog.
You are on the right path. To write means to purge one’s soul, to shedd oneself. That is why poetry is absolute beauty, because it holds pieces of the soul of the writer.
    And also, you are stunning.

    1. You’re stunning too, Aniharvest. I finally healed from severe brain damage from a futile suicide attempt caused by the black box warning on Lamictal. I couldn’t write for 12 years.

I’m able to purge the pain haunting my Being. The Phoenix, Scorpio Rising, is that huge, mythical bird everywhere in the hieroglyphs. I can read the walls.

  3. I understand and appreciate your need to write. There is a beauty in your poetry that is so melancholy – your imagery so intense. Thank you for putting it up and sharing with us. Thank you also for coming by my blog and finding something worth following. Blessings! Rev. Ma.
