That day in May when I tried Suicide
medically I did nearly die
collected, ingested all of my pills
All Points Bulletin not for the thrill
seizing not breathing a coma so bad
Leaving my loved ones so scared and sad
my lungs collapsed a tube down my throat
and twenty IVs to keep me afloat.
For seven days and nights I did scream
because I hallucinated a dream
within my whole lifetime my biggest scare
murderer lured me to his nightmare
on metal I was a prisoner kept
tied, he gagged me for screaming I wept
for the girl already dead by my side
the other being ground up alive!
How is it that I can breathe? I survived?
“Where the FUCK am I?” awoke with a start
to the pounding of my enlarged heart
in my psyche I must have fought
hard as Hell not to be caught
in Arachne’s webbing woven
Life must have been what I had Chosen.
Seven years later I write my story
Restoring Myself to my former Glory.
